For anybody contemplating truck driving school, the following is my best advice:

• Start researching as soon as possible, and then keep researching. Make sure you get all of your questions answered before you sign on the dotted line. In my perspective, there is no such thing as too much research.
• Don’t make assumptions about the school or the business. On the internet, as well as in the halls of the school, rumors abound. Keep in mind that when individuals are pleased with something, they tend to spread the word to only one person. Between eight and ten persons are likely to hear about their displeasure. If that’s the case, you’ll be gone in a flash. A student’s inability to execute the needed duties or abilities is the second most prevalent cause of dropping out of school.
• The program is incredibly fast-paced, therefore you’ll need to study as much as possible before you arrive at DTR School of Trucking. You’ll have a leg up on the competition if you go prepared. You may obtain a free CDL guidebook from your state’s DOT website to get you started.
• Before you depart, make sure that everything at home, as well as your funds and documents, are in order. Even the recruiters might get overburdened at times, which can lead to trouble. However, if you attempt to organize your belongings before heading to school, this will be less likely to happen. Once you arrive, you won’t have to worry about anything else.
• A healthy work ethic and a positive outlook are essential for success. Respect, cooperation, humility, and gratitude are all virtues you should strive towards, regardless of your prior experience. Also, don’t lose sight of the lighter side of life. There was a noticeable decrease in the number of students with negative attitudes at school.
